the greenest of green smoothies

"This smoothie is a great way to stay your day as not only is it super nutritious but it keeps you full for quite a while! It's not as sweet as a lot of green smoothies but you could switch out the water for coconut water if you need the extra sweetness. I like to enjoy mine with a boiled egg or 2 on the side... "
I N G R E D I E N T S: (serves 1)
handful broccoli florets
1 red apple, skin on
1 - 2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup fresh fennel (about half a small bulb)
1 cup purified water
1 tbsp hemp seeds
- Throw everything into a high speed blender until smooth.
- OPTIONS: Add a little fresh mint, switch out the spinach for kale or switch out the apple for pear. You could even add a little fresh orange juice. Play around with it and see what you like best!
